Tools for waking up...

Wondering where to begin? Start where you are.

There are many ways to wake up—to awaken more deeply to our native intelligence and power. Your way might be psychological, social, spiritual, or an evolution through all of those and more. (mind, body, spirit?)

And there are many ways to participate in shared awakening—to link our personal power with the collective power of others who share the same longing to transform our world.

This resource section intends to support the many ways. Here you’ll find books & articles, audio & video, tools & practices, and links to the work of kindred spirits and guides on the path. Scroll down to dig deeper, to be inspired, or just to geek out on a lot of interesting information.

If you’re a human who recognizes the brokenness of the world, and you know you’re meant for something more than what the broken world has sold you, there will be something for you here. May it serve you on your journey.

In the future this research offering will be more in-depth and organized. But we’re making this list available now, for anyone who wants to get started with some new learning, or dive deeper into a tradition, or just someone who wants to know some of the inspirations behind Wake Up, Human, this page will get you started. Thanks for visiting, and may this be of benefit.

The themes below are not mutually exclusive. They overlap and intertwine in myriad ways. They have been separated for ease of organization, but we invite you to remember that each is an entry point into every other, and there are many more than these. (link to podcast intro to WUH episode?)

check resources section against my bullet points:

What I want people’s experience to be:

  • Jump on resources page and clearly see what’s there (no long scrolling)
  • Easy to navigate
  • not overwhelming; simple, top-level, invites them to explore (less is better, at least as far as resources homepage)
  • Clear vision of what and why
  • Clear information/intro: books, videos, partners and organizations
  • Sets me up as “educational”
  • Easy to navigate from section to section…maybe a menu across the top (ex: Foor)
  • Not for everyone, but immediately clear if it’s for you. (Do you want to delve more deeply into these topics? Are you a geek about this stuff? Do you love booklists and tip sheets and links to other people’s websites, etc.?)
  • Includes tips/tools (tipsheets): less on “what/why” and more on “how to”
  • “Suggest a resource” link
  • Box at right with links to tools, tip sheets, quiz, newsletter signup
